Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles are proudly celebrating over 50 years of serving the community by improving the lives of every child that steps through our doors. Over 5,000 members ages 6-18 come through our doors each year, and over 70% of them are considered at-risk children from low-income families. This year's signature fundraising event will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica and will include a hosted reception, special performances by Club members, special guests Courtney B. Vance and notable honoree David Greenbaum, and silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event directly fund the year-round educational leadership, mentoring and character-building programs offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs. In years past we have raised close to $500,000 in a single night and with the help of community partners such as yourself, we hope to raise even more!

EVENT DETAILS:

Join us on September 27th at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica to raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles!

Here are some additional event details:

5:00 p.m. Reception and Silent Auction

7:00 p.m. Dinner and Program

Attire: Beach Chic! We will be in the sand and under the stars. Please be prepared to walk through the sand to your table and have jacket or a wrap to keep warm.

Cocktails: Hosted reception (from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) Note: Cash only bar to follow reception; there is no ATM on premise.

After Party: S'mores & a live DJ from 9:15 p.m.-11 p.m.

Gala Address: Jonathan Beach Club - 850 Palisades Beach Road, Santa Monica, CA 90403

Parking: Parking is complimentary in the Santa Monica Public Parking lot #8, directly north of the club. You can access parking traveling from the north or south, however, the Lot 8 traffic light does not allow left hand turns. To gain entrance while traveling north, you must travel a little further north and make a U-turn at the 2nd traffic light (at the Annenberg Beach House) and head back south, making a right turn into Lot #8. There is no parking in the Jonathan Beach Club lot.

Carpooling/Ridesharing: We encourage guests to Uber, Lyft or carpool as Lot 8 fills up quickly.
